Refund policy

We want you to love your bowl. If something isn’t right, here’s how returns and refunds work.

Returns

For a return, a claim must be filed within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible, the bowl must be unused and unaltered, and returned in its original packaging.

Natural variation in grain, color and figure isn’t a defect.

We don’t offer exchanges, since each bowl is unique.

Damaged, Defective or Wrong Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If a bowl arrives damaged, has a defect of our making, or isn’t what you ordered, email us at cs@seventhstringbowls.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the bowl and the box. Please keep the packaging until we’ve sorted it out.

We’ll assess the state of the bowl and determine how to make it right.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, including a made-to-order bowl, email cs@seventhstringbowls.com as soon as possible. We'll try to stop it before it ships, but depending on where your order is in processing, we may not be able to. If we're able to cancel it, you'll receive a full refund. If it has already shipped, the same return terms apply as for any other bowl.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email cs@seventhstringbowls.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. We’ll reply to understand the causes and provide instructions for the next steps. Please don’t send a bowl back without contacting us first.
  3. If approved: pack the bowl in its original packaging so it travels safely.

Return Shipping

For returns that aren’t due to our error, you pay the return shipping. We recommend a trackable service, since we can’t refund a bowl that doesn’t reach us.

Refunds

We’ll inspect your return when it arrives and email you to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take a few more days to post it.

Original shipping charges are not refundable, unless the return is because of our error.

Promotional Orders

Orders placed with a promotional code can be returned under this same policy. The refund is the amount you actually paid.
