Salvage Bowl
Good wood deserves another chance.
Fallen, aging or imperfect trees can still have plenty of life left in them. Our Salvage Collection gives overlooked wood a new purpose, turning what might otherwise be left behind into beautiful bowls made for every day. Around here, we have a hard time giving up on good wood.
Alder
Lightweight yet durable, Alder makes a great everyday bowl. Its pale, understated grain gradually deepens with age, revealing warm reddish tones and more character along the way. Kind of like a woodturner’s hands.
Big Leaf Maple
Heartwood-rich Big Leaf Maple is often passed over because of its deeper color and natural variation. We happen to think those are its best features. Perfectly imperfect—and all the better for it.

Each bowl is turned from its own block of wood, so no two look alike. The bowl you receive will be the same size, species and grade as the one pictured, but not the exact bowl in the photo. Grain, color and figure will vary.
